After testing a variety of technologies, Dairy Crest settled on an Intermec wireless solution for its primary distribution center. The system is based on the versatility of the compact SF51 bluetooth scanner.

Intermec partners Blackroc Technology and GJ Integrated Systems implemented the new system with no downtime in Dairy Crest's operations. Once installed, it was quickly deemed a success, producing dramatic improvements such as a pick accuracy in excess of 99%.
